I made this with vintage fabrics from the early 90's and upcycled denim. The only new fabric in this dress is the gorgeous blue bitterlfi s print.
The front panel is a hand pierced patchwork accented with decorative stitching. My new twist on a classic quilt block called Cathedral Window. Accented with panels of all the fabrics included in the patchwork.
The top of this dress is made from a patchwork of upcycled denim. I used a Shisako hand stitching technique around the heart. Sweet ruffle finished this off with little calico flowers.
Dress has two nice deep side pockets. Darted with scoop neck, Elastic back and lace up for an adjustable form fit.
Dress measures 45 inches long. Bodice fits from 33 to 42 inches around. Bottom spin 120 inches.
